The Throne - Watch The Throne

Call me mainstream or whatever, but I really enjoyed The Throne (I will always have a special for Kanye). When I first listened to Otis, I swear that I was going to hate. I must admit delivered when it came to the beats and I think that's it's one of the most creative album this year .

Favorite Releases 2011 Part 1

Since this year is about to close in 5, well (4 days), I wanted to look back and share my favorite release in 2011. And like religion I'm shoving my music down your throat during the next 4 days.

The Weeknd - House of Balloons

Don't know who The Weeknd is? Well, you might've heard him and not even known it. Real name Abel Tesafaye. He's on Drake's Take Care album, with the song Crew Love. But I can proudly say that I known way before then, with his prior releases House of Balloons & Thursday. I can't stop listening to it, it's probably the most played music in my music collection. I love all of his songs. That's says something, since I'm the pickiest person on the planet. His sound is completely different and fun. His pill popping lyrics are suggestive hence:

Kryptonite in my pants, go ahead go super

and 

Baby, you’re my Dairy Queen/ Watch you make my baby cream 

They categorize his music has R&B, but to me it's something more. Plus, his all of his releases this year are free on his website. You can download here from his website.
